Welcome to County Line Nashville! We’ve compiled answers to the most common questions about booking, policies, and studio use to help make your next session even more seamless.

 

Booking & Scheduling

Q: How can I check availability and book studio time?

A: We offer a few convenient ways to book your sessions instantly:

  1. Online Booking: View our live calendar and secure your next session or to book multiple sessions. Visit our main page: www.countylinenashville.com and click “Book Now”.

  2. Call for Availability: Contact our Studio Manager directly for our block rental rates and specials, or to book regular weekly/monthly bookings or lockouts at (615) 955-1632.

Both methods provide instant confirmation and payment processing.

 

Q: Is there an hourly minimum for studio rentals?

A: Yes, to ensure efficient scheduling and proper setup time for high-quality sessions, we generally require a 2-hour minimum for all recording studio bookings. For live band practice and rehearsal space only, 1-hour bookings may be scheduled subject to availability. Our standard hourly rate is $60 per hour without a house audio engineer and $120 per hour with an audio engineer.

 

Studio Specifications & Amenities

Q: What primary recording software and monitoring systems are available?

A: Our control room is equipped for professional-grade production:

  • DAW: We primarily run Pro Tools Studio on a dedicated Mac Pro system.

  • Monitoring: Critical listening is handled by a pair of Focal Evo Twin monitors and and Adam Sub 7

  • Preamps: Our signal path features a selection of high-end preamps, including Neve, SSL, and Millenia Media as well as our Universal Audio interface’s built in clean transparent options.

 

Q: What is the maximum capacity for clients and guests?

A: The total studio capacity is designed to comfortably accommodate approximately 8 people (including the primary booking engineer/producer). This includes seating space in the control room and comfortable standing room in the live room and common areas. Please ensure your booking confirmation reflects your anticipated guest count.

Q: Parking and Studio access?

A: There are reserved parking spaces in the rear of the building for County Line Recording Studios as well as street parking on adjacent streets Bradford and Prentince.

*Please note: The studio is located on the 2nd floor with stairs only access*

Q: Are there on-site amenities like Wi-Fi, facilities, etc?

A: Yes, we provide several amenities to ensure a smooth and comfortable session:

  • Connectivity: High-speed, secure Wi-Fi is included with all rentals.

  • Kitchen: Access to a full kitchen with complimentary coffee, tea, and bottled water.

  • Smoking Patio: Access to private outdoor patio.

  • Clean Restroom: The bathroom is cleaned regularly by our staff to provide maximum comfort.

 

Policies and Studio Use

Q: What is your cancellation and refund policy?

A: We understand that project schedules can change unexpectedly. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both you and our studio's schedule:

  • Full Refund: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled start time will receive a full refund, minus any processing fees.

  • Studio Credit: Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the start time will receive full credit for a future booking, valid for 90 days.

  • No Refund/Credit: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are non-refundable and will not receive studio credit.

All cancellation requests must be submitted through your original booking platform.

 

Q: What are the basic rules for safety and security during my session?

A: We require all clients and guests to adhere to the following basic rules to ensure a safe, productive, and comfortable environment for everyone:

  • Respect the Gear: All equipment must be handled with care. Any damage caused by misuse or negligence will result in repair or replacement fees being charged to the person booking. No food or drinks near equipment.

  • No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the studio building and will trigger the building fire alarm. Please use designated outdoor patio area only.

  • Guest Limits: Please limit your guest count to the maximum specified in your booking confirmation to maintain a professional workflow and safe capacity limits.

  • Cleanliness: Please leave the studio space in a clean and orderly manner for the next clients.

 

Q: Are there cameras on-site, and what areas are monitored?

A: Yes. The safety of our clients, staff, and valuable equipment is a top priority. We utilize 24/7 video monitoring in all common areas for security purposes, including the parking lot, entry points, and the lounge/control room. To protect your privacy, interior camera recordings are strictly confidential, and session audio will be disabled during bookings.
